BODY PARTS, Acrylic on canvas, 48” X 72”, $8000
Body Parts is a diptych, two paintings, each 48″ Height X 36″ Wide, a total of 48″ Height X 72″ Wide. The painting emerged from an awareness of my body working not as a whole operating system, but as individual, intense parts that at times seem totally arbitrary, random and disconnected from each other. A feeling I suspect is associated with aging, both alarming and celebratory.
